CAN I SEE ANY OF THE PRODUCTS IN PERSON?
Absolutely. We have 2 retail boutiques at this time. One in Saint John NB (Market Square) and the other in Fredericton NB (99 York Street) and combined we have over 4000 SF of display area. We are open 7 days a week at both locations (and open most holidays at our Saint John Store). Our trained staff would be happy to show you any of our products and answer any questions you may have. We have the largest inventory levels of any Maternity & Baby Boutique east of Montreal. If you do not see it on the shelf – just ask! Both stores have large storage rooms!

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?
Depending on the method of delivery you choose, and your proximity relative to our retail location, most orders should be received within 2-7 business days within Canada.

WHAT CURRENCY ARE YOUR PRICES LISTED IN?
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars. If you are ordering internationally, your credit card company will automatically convert your purchase from Canadian dollars to your local currency. Please check with your bank for current exchange rates as they change daily.

DO I HAVE TO PAY TAX?
By law we must charge taxes. All orders placed in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador will be subject to 13% HST. All other Canadian orders are subject to 5% GST. Taxes do not apply to gift certificates as they are all sold for dollar amounts only.

WHY SHOULD I BUY FROM STYLIN MAMA, BABY & TOT AS OPPOSED TO A LARGE CHAIN STORE?
We are family owned and operated and we search the world to find the safest and most environmentally friendly products that have the highest safety ranking. We service all of our strollers in house and have a trained stroller tech on staff. Our trained staff are knowledgeable in all areas of our Boutique, and are more then happy to help you choose the best car seat, stroller, baby carrier, cloth diapers or anything – for you & your family !
We track all of our products and in the unlikely event of a recall we make every effort to contact you for your safety. The “larger chain” stores do not have this ability… we take pride in everything we sell and do.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY STROLLER SEEMS STIFF?
90% of Stroller Issues have to do with lack of lubrication. All floor models are lubricated and the tires are inflated. However, strollers that are sold factory packaged will need to have the tires inflated and the bearings and all contact points lubricated. You can read the owners manual for full details. Stop in or call us if you have questions or need help.

WHY DO YOU ASK FOR OUR NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION WHEN WE MAKE A PURCHASE? IS THIS USED?
We ask for your name, phone number and or email for several reasons:
1.In case of a return, all items sold are tracked and this makes returns easier and faster for both of us!
2.If you are expecting a baby or have a milestone for your little one coming up, we can track what others buy for you – or what you already have, allowing us to make appropriate recommendations to your friends based on your past buying history.
3.In the unlikely event of a product recall, we are able to contact you.

IF AN ITEM SAYS SOLD OUT WILL YOU BE GETTING MORE IN?
If there is an item that you would like to buy, and our site tells you it is sold out – please email us. As we might have it at our 2nd location (our web store is only based on one of our retail locations) or we might already have it on order! Please let us know if you are looking for something that we do not have in stock, or something that you simply don’t see on our web site!

WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND OR WANT TO CANCEL MY ORDER?
When your order is placed you will receive an e-mail confirmation that your order is being processed. After we process your order and before we ship your order - all cancelled orders will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. This is due to inventory having been located & reordered, items being packed, fed-ex being scheduled and funds captured. If you require changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible. If your order has shipped, your order must be processed as a return.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
At Stylin Mama we want you to be happy, and so we offer a complete refund up to 7 days (refund to the same credit card it was purchased on, minus shipping charges) or for a store credit or exchange. After 7 days and up to 30 days we offer store credit or exchange. Items being returned must be in original box, unused, unworn, and with receipt and tags still attached. Certain items are non-returnable. Please check list or ask a sales associate for details.
Please note that all sale items are final sale. We do not accept returns on items that were purchased on sale.
All web orders requiring a return or exchange require prior approval by Stylin Mama, Baby & Tot . We reserve the right to refuse delivery of any packages that do not have prior approval.

You are responsible for shipping all returns back. Please ship all items to our Saint John location.
All returned or exchanged products must be with a receipt and in new, unwashed, unused condition with tags or packaging attached, if applicable. Used, soiled, washed or unpackaged products will not be accepted for exchanges or returns.

WHAT IF THERE’S A PRODUCT DEFECT?
In the unlikely event your product has a defect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. Each claim is processed on an individual basis depending on its merits. Some will be handled by us directly, well others will have to be
referred to the manufacturer.

CAN I COMBINE DISCOUNT CARDS OR USE THEM ON SALE ITEMS?
No. Only one discount card is applicable per transaction. Discounts can not be used on sale items.

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR STORE TRANSFERS?
No you do not. We do store transfers weekly (unless we the owners are on holidays). There is no charge for store transfers and they generally take any wheres from 2-7 days.

CAN I BUY SOMETHING IN SAINT JOHN AND RETURN IT TO FREDERICTON?
NO you can not. Our stores computer systems are not linked and therefore all returns and gift certificate redemptions must take place at the store in which the original transaction took place.

DO YOU OFFER LOCAL PICK UP?
Yes, orders may be placed on line for pick up at our retail location. Please remember all web store inventory is based on our Saint John location, so if you want pickup in Fredericton please let us know so we can confirm inventory there or do a store transfer.

WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPPING RATES?
Canadian Orders:
We ship most orders with Fed Ex and you are able to select your shipping method and get a quote during checkout. Shipping is based on the size & weight of your item. If you want me to check on Canada Post or Acadian Lines please send us a note. We have often sent out larger items like strollers/car seats on the Bus – generally if its not both – it is cheaper to go with fed ex. But we are happy to help you find the least expensive method we can.
We cannot be held responsible for damaged, lost or misdirected packages. Customer is responsible for all taxes/duties that may be levied in transit.
How do I track my order? DO I receive confirmation?
When your order has been accepted, you will receive an order confirmation via email. You will also receive an email letting you know the day that your packaged has shipped. It usually takes 2-7 days to arrive, depending on where you live. If you have questions about your order, please email us at

WHY USE CLOTH DIAPERS?
Cloth diapering today is not like it used to be. When many think of cloth diapers, they think of big flat diapers that need to be folded & fastened with pins, and then covered with plastic pants… Cloth Diapers are no longer what your Grandma used! Generally, they also think that the clean-up involved with using cloth would be messy. Or it would take too much time to use Cloth.
Well - It seems as though many have missed the total evolution of the cloth diaper! New choices in materials and high tech fabrics are causing an increasing number of parents to reconsider cloth. Today our cloth diapers have elastics allowing a snug fit, they are waterproof, breathable, and have easy snaps or Velcro closures… making diaper changes a breeze! They are just as easy and as convenient to use as disposables (but much cuter!) That’s right, Cloth diapers available today are absolutely adorable, available in a variety of gorgeous colors, and luxurious textures and fabric.
There is absolutely nothing cute about a disposable diaper. Quite simply, cloth diapers are convenient, cost effective, healthier for your children (and their bum), and better for the environment. I feel as though the real question parents should be asking themselves is, why use disposables? Would you want a pamper (latex/chemicals…) or soft bamboo wrapped around your bum?
Cloth Diapers Are Cheaper Than Disposable Diapers...
Most parents go through 6 to 8 thousand diapers per child, from birth to about age three. If we take an average of what those diapers cost, that is between 2400 and 3000 dollars per baby.
So a huge chunk of your money has gone to buying what is essentially garbage, did we mention a pamper takes 500 years to break up in the landfill?
In comparison, enough cloth diapers to last for three years will usually cost between $350 to $800. At a minimum that is about a 1200 dollar savings, most save well over $2000 per child. Those cloth diapers may last for all of your children and then your savings start to double and maybe even triple.
Cloth Diapers Are Healthier For Your Baby...
What should be of serious concern to all parents are the toxic chemicals present in disposable diapers. Dioxin, which in various forms has been shown to cause cancer, birth defects, liver damage, skin diseases, and genetic damage, is a by-product of the paper-bleaching process used in manufacturing disposable diapers. Trace quantities may even exist in the diapers themselves! Dioxin is listed by the EPA as the most toxic of cancer related chemicals. Disposable diapers contain Tributyl-tin (TBT) - a toxic pollutant known to cause hormonal problems in humans and animals. Disposable diapers also contain sodium polyacrylate. If you have ever seen the gel-like, super absorbant crystals in a disposable, then you have seen this first hand. Sodium polyacrylate is the same substance that was removed from tampons because of its link to toxic shock syndrome. No studies have been done on the long-term effects of this chemical being in contact with a baby's reproductive organs 24 hours a day for upwards of two years. Studies have also been done to show that the chemical emissions from disposable diapers can cause respiratory problems in children. Cloth diapers, on the other hand, are free of the many chemicals contained in disposable diapers.
Cloth Diapers Are Better For The Environment...
You’re helping to reduce the amount of waste that sits in a landfill. In ideal conditions it would take 250 - 500 years for a single throwaway diaper to decompose. The conditions in our landfills are unfortunately not ideal, so decomposition takes much longer than that, even. Your cloth diapers will last you through two to three babies, at which point they can be used as cleaning cloths. After that, cut them up in small pieces and throw them in your compost and they can be helping to fertilize your garden the next year!
